Yeah, selling online can be hard because you actually have to ship your clothes out and such so that will cost money from your own pocket. Hopefully, a place you find to do it with will ship them out for free.

HOLY COW! Why all the detail about being a single mother, and 38, and looking like an older Hillary Duff? Are you trying to paint a picture of WHY you come across as a bitter, old, jaded bitch?

I can understand to a point getting irritated with car salesman…but to walk in and act superior to this poor guy who was just trying to do his job is…sad.

What you’re asking for isn’t respect…it’s called ass kissing. Could you not have asked the guy not to call you "Missy" in a resptful way…the same way you wanted to be treated?

You’re lucky…I’d have told you to take your cash and go someplace else!

Ebay doesn’t require just paypal. You have the option to require any type of payment from your customers when they buy your item. You can require paypal, money order, or even checks. Seriously, paypal is an easier way when dealing with transfers of money because it weeds out a lot of scammers on ebay! I’ve dealt with plenty till I started using paypal!

You obviously don’t like people making assumptions about you — because they are usually wrong. You were clearly a different kind of woman customer than the sales guy was accustomed to seeing. Many woman make car purchases strictly on emotional rationale and generally like for others to help make decisions for them. The sales guy’s methods probably work for 90% of the women he sees, and was just going with the odds. To the other 10% he is considered insulting and disrepectful.

BTW, not to be disrespectful, but most women also tell their stories in long, painfully excruciating detail because they want to be completely understood and appreciated.

Most car salesman are OK and have enough brains to be quiet if you tell them outright, but it sounds like you ran into one of the THICKER headed types. Anyway, you have no reason to put up with being treated like a ditz when you tell them not to and you have nothing to apologize for to anybody.

So, you walked onto a car lot, complaining from the very get-go.

Then you tell the salesman to keep his mouth shut.

And you make it clear that you know more than he does.

Then you take offense to a simple term he used, which was not insulting in the slightest.

Then you state that you require an apology, even though no crime was committed, or you won’t buy their car.

BS, that you’re 38. That’s the actions of an 18 year old.

Whine, whine, whine, and trying to prove that you’re better than those who are trying to help you.

I’d post up a sign with your face, so all my employees could see, and advise them to escort you off the lot.

Come back when you have an adult with you.

You are/were right, but you also sound like you throw a lot of manure in front of the fan. Salesmen are generally paid to sell, and that involves talking. You do not like being pushed and his job is/was to push you gently. I think you overreacted, but I would not tell you this if I worked for you , ma'am.
